The problem:
The absence of outdoor communal workspaces on campus is conducive to a positive learning and work environment in the SMI campus.

Opportunity Statement: (context of Srishti Manipal Campus)

Most students go to the MIT library or sit in the cafe spaces to work outside of their classroom spaces, these spots are not only far and time consuming to reach, but also distracting, hence the need for a quiet work space, at a small distance from the classrooms that increases productivity in campus, where students can work, inspiring each-other and collaborating. The space should be welcoming, calming and must spark creativity. Although vibrant colors are to be used, the colors should not distract the user from the flow of work.

The space should be comfortable to work individually or in groups, but the space should not invite crowds for casual gatherings or hang outs. The space and furniture should convey the ease of comfortable working while maintaining the tone of professionalism and decorum, expanding the overall workable space outdoors.
